Mr Kipit's decision to establish a Chinese tucker shop in the heart of Boroko Market 'on a trial basis' is a slap in the face of PNG owned SMEs in NCD.

This is counter productive to the plans & aspirations of the Marape-Steven Government for SMEs all over PNG.

The Government has allocated K200m into SMEs in the 2020 National Budget, but at the other end of the spectrum, we see that NCDC is blatantly doing the complete opposite by giving business to their Chinese/Malaysian friends. The favours are reciprocated (we are not stupids, we know that).

This is not an adhoc random decision. Bernard Kipit knows exactly what he is doing. 😀

Kipit is taking the residents of this city as stupids & fools who can't see or do anything about nepotism and/or giving contracts to his Asian friends😀

NEC should look into his position as City Manager for NCD. Whose interest is this man trying to serve? Interest blong em yet na ol Chinese friends blong em, or interest blong ol SME PNG business owners?

This City Manager is behaving like an enemy of SMEs in NCD & PNG.

You have to ask yourself - if he is a fit & proper person to be the City Manager of NCD.
