Can you tell us a little bit about your Story?
SME RESOURCE CENTER
The desire to own Companies goes all the way back to my Childhood. Every time we traveled in town, I always wanted to own Companies and tall Buildings like that. And I wondered in that mind of a child, how and where can I learn HOW?
However, when I graduated at UNRE in 2011, I was disappointed. We didn't learn how to build and own Companies. But this desire manifested itself as a Social Group called The KATALYST. A determined group of friends who wanted to build their own Companies back in their Villagers. And we started by learning how to write Proposals.
Thankfully dad developed the habit of buying Insightful Second Hand Self-help Books like Rich Dad Poor Dad, Richest Man in Babylon, 4 Hour Work Week etc. So finally, since 2011, my brain could feed on what it wanted all these years.
Eventually, this desire finally manifested itself in August 9, 2019, as SME Resource Center after my older Brother Michael mentored me on SMEs, Networking Events, Business Development & Lean Startups. Once I had a clear Vision & Strategy of my Lean Started & where I could go, it was now all a matter of Execution.
I started simply by getting Michael to create my Domain & emails, rebranded dad's Business Name, created a Facebook Page & borrowed Michael's Visa Card to sponsor Ads & Online Services.
2. What is your Vision and Mission?
My Vision is to Eliminate Unemployment in PNG, so the Mission is to Empower all to be Employed or Self-employed by Teaching Pitching & Business Development as Life Skills.
3. What are your Products and Services?
My Team of Virtual Assistants can do anything but we primarily focus on Business Profiles, Email Domains, Websites, Facebook Pages, Ads, and Virtual Assistance. Because this will help people to own a System that gets Customers and makes money.
4. Why did you come up with this idea?
I simply saw that SME Startup and Entrepreneurship was missing in the Education System so I chose to create an Education System for SMEs that also provides the Services and links to tools and other Service Providers needed by SMEs.
