Traditionally this meant, at what *position* are we in the market. E.g In the retail industry we have low end like The Warehouse And Kmart mid end like Zara or Glassons and High End Designer
And Boutiques.
Neither is wrong or better, they are just different positions, serving different markets.
In the New Era of Business, Brand Positioning is not based on finding the most lucrative position or market, but positioning ourselves based on our authentic embodied evolution.
What are you EMBODYING now that puts you in a different *position* in the market.
What I often find is that people have Evolved themselves, their skills, experience and knowledge, yet have not repositioned themselves in their business.
Consistent and ever flowing results are received when we allow ourselves to evolve and reposition ourselves time and time
Again.
The biggest thing I see where people are leaving money on the table is that they are not positioning themselves as the leader they are, and are still working in the same
Bandwidth as when they started.
They will know this as they will start to feel either uninspired, resentful or stuck.
If they only knew, a slight shift in *positioning* could shift you into a new place in the market and completely shift your business reality.
Some things to ask yourself to embody this:
•What experience, gifts and purpose have I anchored over the past 5 years.
•Based on this am I correctly positioning myself in the market as the leader I am?
These are the things that often go through an up level when we UP our brand positioning:
•New reflective pricing
•More refined offerings
•Revamped branding / photos
•An embodied confidence that can be felt AND seen
Brand positioning is based on allowing ourselves to be represented online and in our business without having to puff up or dim down.
